The Eco-Products EP-CC16-GS 16 oz. GreenStripe cold cup is a plastic cup for use with cold liquids and is made with PLA, a plant-based plastic. PLA (polylactic acid) is made from corn, a renewable resource. The cup provides an alternative to traditional plastic cups, which made from petroleum and not compostable or recyclable. The cup has a decorative pattern that communicates it is made from renewable resources. It fits a lid (sold separately) to prevent leaking. This product meets the D6400 standards of ASTM International, formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials, for being compostable in municipal and industrial composting facilities.
